Meet JAVLN Clients, the CRM built for brokers

Next week on the Gold Coast, JAVLN will preview JAVLN Clients at the NIBA Convention (18 to 20 October). It is a CRM built for insurance brokers and financial advisers, giving a single view of every growth opportunity in the book, from the first conversation to a bound policy.

Why we built it

Macquarie Business Banking’s Insurance Industry Benchmarking Report found 51% of Australian broking businesses and underwriting agencies use a CRM tool. Our own customer interviews found the other half are managing new business, cross-sell and up-sell through spreadsheets, inboxes and whiteboards, disconnected from the client documents and history already held elsewhere in the business.

JAVLN Clients is built for that half. It brings clients, leads and pipeline activity into one place, with notes from every call and meeting captured as they happen, by voice on the JAVLN app or at the desk. It flags the opportunities and leads that have gone quiet, so the follow up happens while the client is still deciding.

It also connects to Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude and other AI assistants. A broker can ask which clients they haven’t spoken to this quarter, or how much is in the pipeline, and get an answer between meetings.

Built for brokers from the start

Tim Mole, Head of Document Intelligence at JAVLN, said: “Almost every brokerage has a system for the policies it holds. Nearly half have nothing for the business they’re chasing. Brokers were never given software for that job. JAVLN Clients is our answer and it belongs to the brokerage that uses it, not to a network.”

“A CRM built for any industry doesn’t know what a renewal is, or which policies a client already has, or why a document has to be kept exactly as it was on the day it was issued. JAVLN Clients does, because it was built for brokers from the start. Run it on its own or with Officetech and years of client documents already underneath it.”

Works on its own, or with Officetech

For brokerages that run JAVLN Officetech, Officetech stays the system of record for clients and documents, and JAVLN Clients sits over the top for the business they are chasing. Every quote, conversation and document on the way to a policy is logged against the opportunity as it happens, time stamped, and when the client is won it all goes across to Officetech. There is less re-keying, and the audit trail a regulator may ask for stays intact. JAVLN Officetech is SOC 2 Type 2 audited.

JAVLN Clients is independent of any broker network. The business owns its pipeline and its client data, whichever network it belongs to today, and keeps both if that changes.

A growing profession, ready for the next step

The launch lands at a time of real momentum across the sector. NIBA’s Data to Direction report found 85% of brokers are actively growing their client base. In NIBA’s Ready or Reacting report, 83% of brokers said technology and automation were likely to change their role, and 77% expected to be working as strategic advisers to their clients. JAVLN Clients is built for that role.
